Prof. Minhu Chen is the Chief of Division of Gastroenterology，the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University and the former president of Chinese Society of Gastroenterology. Prof. Chen also serves as the board member of Asian Pacific Association of Gastroenterolgy and the board member of Asian Organization of Colitis and Crohn’s Disease. Prof. Chen obtained his medical degree in 1984 at Sun Yat-sen University and then obtained his Ph.D. in 1990. Prof. Chen focuses on topics including inflammatory bowel disease, neurogastroenterology and motility disorders. Prof. Chen has published 10 academic books and 12 book chapters. He has published more than 500 papers in academic journals.
